Aidian - Your aid in diagnostics since 1974

The journey of Aidian, previously Orion Diagnostica, started under the pharmaceutical company Orion with the manufacturing of microbiological culture media already in the 1940s. In 1968, Uricult^® test for diagnosing urinary tract infections was launched marking the start of the diagnostics business for Orion. Finally in 1974, a new business unit called Orion Diagnostica was officially established separating the diagnostics business from the pharmaceutical business of Orion. Orion Diagnostica separated from Orion in 2018 following a name change to Aidian in 2019.

Through the years Aidian has grown into an independent and innovative global health technology company focusing especially on point-of-care diagnostics. High-quality products are at the core of our business and we want to play a part in people's well-being through accurate and fast diagnostics.

Today, 18th of February, we celebrate our 50th anniversary and start our journey for the next 50 years!
